The Marvin® Vivid™ collection is Marvin’s newest line, built for transitional to contemporary architecture that demands dramatic sizes, durability, and energy efficiency. Featuring Ultrex® fiberglass exteriors and an innovative fiberglass reinforced composite interior, every detail is smooth and clean – engineered components eliminate overlapping materials and joint welds.
Looking for a different collection?
Vivid features an innovative fiberglass reinforced composite interior – a proprietary material developed exclusively for this collection. The material achieves smooth, clean profiles thanks to its unique pultrusion process, eliminating overlapping materials and joint welds. Two interior color options are available: Ebony and Stone White.
Two Colour Options
Vivid features Marvin’s proprietary Ultrex pultruded fiberglass exterior – eight times stronger than vinyl and three times stronger than vinyl/wood composites. The acrylic finish is three times thicker than competitive options and resists scratches, chipping, peeling, chalking, fading, and UV degradation even in darker colors. Four exterior color options are available. The Ultrex exterior is fully paintable.
Four Colour Options
The Vivid collection offers four window types, each designed for transitional to contemporary architecture with large-format sizes and clean, consistent profiles.
Hinges at the top, opens outward from the bottom. Can complement direct glaze or casement windows for design versatility.
Side-hinged window with crank or push-out operation. Built for smooth operation, clean sightlines, and dramatic maximum sizes. Operating and picture units available within the same frame profile.
Non-operating window often installed to showcase a view or as a complement to operating units in a larger assembly.
Trapezoids, polygons, arched/round-top, and other geometric designs. Custom-built to match unique architectural needs.

Vivid is Marvin's newest collection, positioned between Modern and Elevate for transitional to contemporary projects. Here's a quick way to know if it's the right fit:
Vivid is Marvin’s newest collection, designed specifically for transitional to contemporary architecture. It features a unique fiberglass reinforced composite interior paired with Ultrex fiberglass exterior – making it fully low-maintenance inside and out with no wood to stain or seal. The engineered components eliminate overlapping materials and joint welds for smooth, clean details. It also offers large-format sizes with heights up to 10 feet.
It’s a proprietary material developed exclusively for the Vivid collection. The material achieves smooth, clean profiles through a unique pultrusion process during manufacturing. It’s durable, low-maintenance, and available in two colors: Ebony and Stone White.
The key difference is interior material. Elevate has a natural pine wood interior (warm, traditional feel) while Vivid has a fiberglass reinforced composite interior (low-maintenance, contemporary feel). Elevate offers more window types (8 vs 4) and has impact-rated options for coastal properties, which Vivid does not. Vivid offers larger maximum sizes (up to 10 feet) and is designed for transitional to contemporary architecture.
Yes. Vivid windows meet or exceed ENERGY STAR Version 7.0 standards. The low thermal conductivity of Ultrex fiberglass, combined with dual and triple pane glass options with Low-E coatings and argon gas, delivers strong thermal performance.
